The Vida V1 Plus Is Back in Vida’s Lineup Of Electric Scooters!

Hero MotoCorp has re-introduced the Vida V1 Plus into Vida’s lineup of electric scooters. The V1 Plus is available with a discount of Rs 30,000 currently, which means the electric scooter’s current price tag is Rs 1,15,000 (ex-showroom including FAME 2 subsidy). 

Also, if you reside in Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh or Rajasthan where state subsidies are applicable, then the V1 Plus’ price tag will come down by an additional Rs 10,000 - 20,000. The price tag after the Rs 30,000 discount makes the Vida V1 Plus a lot more affordable than the Vida V1 Pro which, being the more premium offering, gets a price tag of Rs 1,45,900 (ex-showroom including FAME 2 subsidy). 

Both the Vida V1 Plus and Pro get the same motor with a continuous power output of 3.9kW and a peak power output of 6kW. But the difference lies in the fact that the V1 Pro accelerates from 0-40kmph in 3.2 seconds while the Plus does the same in 3.4 seconds. The Vida V1 Pro gets a 3.94kWh capacity battery pack which delivers a claimed real world range of 110km while the V1 Plus comes equipped with a 3.44kWh capacity battery and a claimed real world range of 100km.

The Vida V1 Pro rivals the likes of the Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak Premium and the Ola S1 Pro. The Vida V1 Plus, being the more affordable scooter, rivals the Ather 450S, Bajaj Chetak Urbane and the Ola S1 Air.
