The week after Auto Expo 2025 has been quite exciting as well and we got to see some really cool launches, unveils and more. From a new scrambler getting launched to news of two upcoming superbikes, this week was quite action packed. Here’s a brief overview of everything we saw.
Honda updated their most popular scooter, this time giving it a ton of new features. The 2025 Honda Activa, now gets a new 4.2-inch TFT console which offers smartphone connectivity and more. The scooter also features an engine that is now OBD-2B compliant. With all these changes, the premium that customers will have to pay is not that massive.
Royal Enfield had also launched the Scram 440 in India, and the bike features a larger 443cc engine. The engine is a bored out version of the Scram 411’s engine, and it offers a bump of 1.2PS and 2Nm.
Along with the new engine, the bike has also got some really useful bits like switchable ABS, which has made it a lot more potent off-road. But the best part is, Royal Enfield is now offering the bike with alloy wheels!
We recently came across new spyshots of the upcoming 2025 KTM RC 390. We now have got a clearer picture of the bike, and can say for sure what we can expect. The design and styling has clearly taken some inspiration from the higher capacity KTM RC 8C supersport, and this is evident from the front section and fairing. Along with these changes, the bike will also get the same engine as the 3rd Gen KTM 390 Duke, which will offer a performance bump.
This week we also got to see a new bike with a neo-retro roadster design being patented by the brand. The design looks quite similar to the one we have seen on the Honda CB300R, with the cafe racer-like design bits. The bike is likely going to be powered by the same engine as the Honda Hornet 2.0. Here’s when we can expect the bike to come to India.
Ducati India is bringing in two big bikes – the 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 and the Desert X Discovery. The updated Panigale V4 now gets a new chassis which is 17 percent lighter than the previous generation bike’s frame. It’s one of the most powerful bikes in its segment with 216PS and 121.9Nm.
The Desert X Discovery is a cross-country tourer. . It gets long travel suspension in the form of an inverted fork and a monoshock. The bike is powered by a 937cc L-twin motor which produces 110PS and 92Nm. Both the bikes could be coming to India in the next few months!
