Bookings for these variants of both the MPV are on hold due to overwhelming demand

Toyota Rumion CNG and Innova Hycross Hybrid Bookings Temproaily Halted

If you're eyeing to buy a Toyota, the automaker recently released waiting periods for their models, including hybrids and diesel engine-powered options. While we've previously outlined the waiting period timelines for these cars, a couple of models are currently unavailable for booking. These include the Toyota Rumion CNG and the top-end variants of the Innova Hycross. Let's explore further.

Toyota Rumion CNG

In September last year, Toyota announced they wouldn't accept orders for factory-fitted CNG kit variants offered with the Rumion. The reason is due to high demand for the Rumion CNG variant. While this restriction remains in place, it doesn't affect petrol-powered versions of the MPV. Alternatively, you can consider the Ertiga CNG, which is Maruti’s equivalent to the Rumion.

Another MPV currently unavailable for booking is the top-end ZX and ZX (O) variants of the Innova Hycross, once again due to overwhelming demand. These variants are exclusively offered with a 2-litre petrol engine coupled with a strong hybrid system, producing a combined output of 184 PS. That said, if you're interested in booking the lower-end VX and VX(O) variants of the Hycross Hybrid, you'll still face a waiting period of eleven to twelve months.

We do not have any information on when Toyota will lift this temporary restriction on both the variants of the MPVs, but they certainly cater to a wider audience, judging by their demand.
