The last week of February was pretty interesting with new launches, spy shots and valuable insights on the upcoming launches. If you happen to miss the action, here are the highlights from this week’s important news:
Bajaj launched the 2024 Pulsar NS160 and NS200 with a new fully digital instrument cluster that facilitates smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The naked bikes also get a new LED headlight, DRLs (daytime running lights) and LED indicators.
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 has also been launched with the updated instrument cluster. It also features smartphone connectivity and a refreshed all-LED lighting setup. However, it lacks turn-by-turn navigation.
The Royal Enfield Classic 650 and Scrambler 650 were spotted testing together. Both the bikes will be equipped with the same 648cc twin-cylinder engine seen on the Royal Enfield’s 650cc range. The spy shots reveal several significant information and features. Check it out here.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 450 was also spied testing again. It will be a sporty roadster based on the Himalayan 450. Spy shots suggest it takes design inspiration from the Hunter 350, while the tail section looks similar to the new Himalayan.
Ather Electric is all set to launch the Rizta family scooter. The Ather Rizta is expected to make its debut on April 6 during the 2024 Ather Community Day and will get a lot of practical features, including a massive seat.
Hero MotoCorp has re-introduced the Vida V1 Plus electric scooter in the Indian Market. It has a slightly smaller battery and it is negligibly slower than the Vida V1 Pro. The electric scooter gets a Rs 30,000 discount, bringing its price down to Rs 1,15,000 (ex-showroom, including FAME 2 subsidy).
Husqvarna is planning to launch the 2024 Svartpilen 250 in India soon, as revealed by the motorcycle's leaked homologation docs. Like the Vitpilen 250, it will use the same 249cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine as the 2024 KTM 250 Duke, making 31PS and 25Nm.
March 2023 appears promising with several exciting launches on the horizon. This month, we might witness the introduction of a 400cc Pulsar, a maxi-scooter from Hero, and possibly even an EV from Honda! Check out our article for more details.
