Top 5 Confirmed New Features Of 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai has been releasing teasers of the upcoming 2024 Creta facelift SUV for some time now. And images of the SUV have leaked ahead of its scheduled January 16 debut. Apart from design changes, the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift will pack a handful of new features. Here are 5 confirmed ones: 

360-degree camera

The 360-degree camera system uses front, rear and ORVM mounted side cameras to project the surroundings of the Creta on the infotainment screen. This will aid in parking situations as well as improve navigation in dense traffic or other tight situations. 

Multi-colour ambient light

As part of the refreshed interiors, the new Creta will be equipped with multi-colour ambient lighting. These will not only up the cool quotient of the cabin but also allow the user to customise them as per their choice by opting for their favourite hue.

Digital drivers display

Like the new Seltos, the updated Creta will come with a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display. It will provide all the relevant information and will get multiple user-selectable display theme options as well. Based on our experience, this screen is crisp, easy to use and has high quality graphics. 

ADAS

Advanced Driver Assistance System or ADAS in short consists of features like adaptive cruise control, lane assist, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, autonomous emergency braking, and more. This will be a welcome addition to the SUV as ADAS tech improves the overall safety as well as highway driving comfort of the car.  

Blind spot monitor

Blind spot monitor alerts the driver of any other vehicle or obstruction in the driver’s blindspot. With the 360-degree camera already available, the blind spot monitor will trigger the side cameras when the indicator is activated so you can see if there are any obstructions

Pre-launch bookings of the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift are open. Considering its updates, we expect it to command a notable premium over the outgoing car, which was priced from Rs 10.87 lakh (ex-showroom). It will lock horns with the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor.
