This week was a very action packed and eventful one, as we got to see many new launches and unveils. The main highlight being, not 1 but 3 retro roadsters coming to the Indian market, a brand new one and 2 updated ones. Here’s a brief overview of everything we saw.
BSA Gold Star Launched
The BSA Gold Star was finally launched in India this week, and yes it is the modern take on the iconic BSA Gold Star from the 60s. The Gold Star was one of the fastest bikes during its era and this modern take on the bike tries to live up to the name. The bike is powered by a massive 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 45PS and 55Nm. The best part about the bike is the competitive pricing which makes it a real steal.
2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Unveiled
Royal Enfield unveiled the updated Classic 350 bike this week. In terms of changes, we have seen addition of new colours, LED lights and a couple of other changes that make the bike better equipped to take on its rivals. Here’s when the prices will be revealed.
Ola Roadster Range Launched
Ola electric has been working on bringing electric motorcycles to the market for quite some time now. Earlier they had released their e-bike concepts and now the real deal is here at last. 2024 Jawa 42 Launched
The 2024 Jawa 42 was launched this week with a massive update, now the bike comes with a bunch of new updates including tweaks to its engine components for better power and torque delivery in the lower rpms. Along with this the bike’s NVH (noise, vibrations and harshness) levels have seen a reduction as well. The best part is, now the bike is way more affordable than what it used to be.
TVS iQube Celebration Edition Launched
TVS launched a special edition of the TVS iQube called the TVS iQube Celebration Edition, to commemorate India’s 78th Independence day. This version is available for the base TVS iQube and the TVS iQube S, but is limited to 1000 units each. The e-scooter comes with a couple of different design and styling changes.
