Launches, reveals, concept unveils, teasers, price hikes - you name it - this week had it. Also a lot of crucial information about upcoming launches came in this week, while we got the first CNG-powered sub-4m SUV of the country as well. Here’s nine hand picked news that unfolded this week:
Maruti launched the Brezza CNG this week, making it the first sub-4m SUV in the country to get a CNG kit from the factory. Our launch story has everything you need to know about it, including its pricing and specifications.
Hyundai revealed new information about the upcoming Verna, which spilled the beans on its safety kit. We already knew that the compact sedan will be packing ADAS functionality, but we now know what all will be offered as standard, and so can you by heading over here.
We got our hands on the prices of the lower-end variants of the Innova Crysta, which is yet to be launched. The updated MPV is pricier than the petrol trims of the Innova Hycross and the price tag of the higher trims are expected to be outed in the coming days.

Kia launched the Seltos, Sonet, and Carens with the updated powertrains that are in-line with the upcoming RDE norms. The update also brought along different changes to the powertrains of the three SUVs, which was accompanied by a price hike as well. The MG Comet EV, which is a rebadged Wuling Air EV, could be launched in the country in the coming months. It will be the smallest offering in the MG lineup and will offer a smaller alternative to the Tata Tiago EV and Citroen eC3.
