Top 5 Bestselling Bikes In December 2021 Under Rs 1 Lakh

SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) has released the vehicles sales reports for December 2021, and here is the list of the most popular motorcycles sold in India last month. No surprises really that the Hero Splendor is at the top.

The Hero Splendor secured pole position with more than two lakh units sold. Compared to November, its sales increased by 17.80 percent.

Next on the list is another Hero motorcycle, the HF Deluxe, making a comeback to the second spot (replacing the Honda CB Shine) with 83,080 units sold. However, the CB Shine just crossed the cumulative one crore sales milestone this month.

The fourth spot is occupied by Bajaj Platina, whose sales have steadily reduced by about 20,000 units in the past two months. Bajaj will have to do something to arrest this slide.

Rounding off the top 5 list is the Hero Glamour, selling 10,000 units more than what it did in November. This little success can possibly be attributed to the new Xtec variant that packs a whole lot of features for its segment.
