Toyota had kicked off 2022 by increasing prices of the Innova Crysta and Fortuner in January. Fast forward to February, and the carmaker has done the same for the Glanza hatchback and the Urban Cruiser sub-4 metre SUV. The Vellfire luxury MPV remains the only model in Toyota’s model lineup to be exempted from a price increment, with the Camry hybrid recently getting a midlife refresh back in January.
Here’s a look at the updated pricing on both models:

For the Glanza hatchback, almost every variant received a uniform price hike of Rs 21,000. The V MT variant received a price increment of Rs 45,000 which is the highest of the two models. The hatchback now retails from Rs 7.7 lakh to Rs 9.66 lakh.

Premium AT |

Compared to the Glanza, the Urban Cruiser’s price increment isn’t that uniform and depends on the variant chosen. The top-spec Premium AT gets the highest increment in the Urban Cruiser at Rs 17,000. Interestingly, the Premium MT and Mid AT’s price hikes have resulted in the same price tag at Rs 10 lakh. This leaves the Urban Cruiser retailing from Rs 8.88 lakh and Rs 11.58 lakh.
These aren’t the only changes for the Glanza and Urban Cruiser, as its badge-shared Maruti Suzuki siblings, the Baleno and the Vitara Brezza are set for a facelift and generation update respectively. While the facelifted Baleno is set for an imminent launch, the Glanza’s mid life refresh is slated to arrive in March. As for the next-gen Urban Cruiser, it should arrive sometime later this year after the next-gen Vitara Brezza shows up.
