Toyota India To Display Entire Lineup At Auto Expo 2023, But Here Are 3 Models We Wish Made it

The Auto Expo serves as a base in India where manufacturers showcase their latest innovations and products. But that is not the case with Toyota this time around, wherein it will be displaying its existing models, including the Innova Hycross, Hilux, Camry and Vellfire. This might sound a bit meh, especially considering that manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki have some big things lined up. 

So in this report, here’s our wishlist of at least three Toyotas that we hoped to see at the show floor:

Toyota Supra 

The Toyota Supra is one of the best JDM sports cars ever made. While the latest generation Supra might not be exactly Japanese (it reeks of Bavaria after all), it still has what it takes to be a Supra. A mighty 3-litre six-cylinder engine, rear-wheel drive and a tail happy rear end. What more do you need? To know more about the Supra, check out this report. 

Toyota b4ZX 

The b4ZX marked Toyota’s foray into the ever-growing electric vehicle segment. Built from scratch, the EV impresses with its futuristic design, a thoroughly modern and premium cabin and capable powertrains. Toyota being the master when it comes to pushing boundaries in car tech has plonked in a solar roof on board the EV, so it can charge using sunlight! Toyota Crown 

In India, a full fledged luxury Toyota means the Vellfire. However, abroad, there’s something even better from the carmaker: the Toyota Crown. It’s basically Toyota’s answer to the likes of Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. There are four models under the Crown brand – crossover, SUV, estate and sedan – and you can read all about them in our detailed report.
