This marks the Scrambler 1200 range’s entry into India with the most accessible bike in that range

The 2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200 range has started coming to India and the first one to set the scene is the Triumph Scrambler 1200 X. It is priced at Rs 11,83,000 (ex-showroom) and is the less hardcore accessible scrambler in the 1200 range, compared to the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE.

The Scrambler 1200 X retains Triumph’s iconic scrambler look with the dual exhausts on one side and the neo-retro design language. It is powered by a 1200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 90PS at 7000rpm and 110Nm at 4250rpm and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It gets a tubular steel chassis and the suspension setup consists of a Marzocchi non-adjustable inverted fork with 170mm wheel travel and twin shock absorbers at the rear from Marzocchi with 170mm wheel travel. Stopping the Scrambler 1200 X are dual 310mm disc brakes at the front with 2-piston Nissin axial caliper along with a single 255mm disc brake at the rear with a single-piston floating Nissin caliper.

The all-new Triumph Scrambler 1200 X rolls on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup and has a wheelbase of 1,525mm, kerb weight of 228kg and a seat height of 820mm (which can be reduced to 795mm with the accessory seat). Features-wise, the scrambler gets an LCD instrument console with a TFT inset and comes with turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity via a connectivity module available as an accessory.
