Plans to enter the 450cc class championship as well
All motorsports are cool, but enduro and SuperMotocross are wild, and Triumph Motorcycles wants a piece of that action. The British bike manufacturer, juiced up on tea, has announced that it will be entering the Monster Energy AMA SuperMotocross World Championship in the United States for the 2024 season.
To begin with, Triumph will enter the 250cc class with its two-new four-stroke MX bikes in partnership with Bobby Hewitt (Triumph Racing Team Owner). Renowned motocross champion Ricky Carmichael will also be helping Triumph in the development of the MX bikes.
Interestingly, Triumph does not plan on stopping there and will also be taking a swing at the 450cc premier class MX championship in 2025. For the same, Triumph’s in-house team is developing and testing 450cc MX bikes.

Adding to that, the 250cc and 450cc MX bikes being developed by Triumph will also make it to series production and will be sold in international markets sometime later.
The British marque is in no hurry and is keen on establishing itself and its bikes in the 250cc segment first and then move to the 450cc MX bike segment.
