TVS RTSx Supermoto Concept Unveiled At Auto Expo 2025

TVS Motors has unveiled the RTSx supermoto concept at Auto Expo 2025 and the bike is powered by the same RT-XD4 engine which TVS unveiled at the 2025 MotoSoul event. 

Design

The TVS RTSx gets a typical supermoto design which includes a dirtbike styled body with long travel suspension coupled with alloy wheels and road-biased tyres. The straight handlebar with the single piece seat gives the rider an attacking position. The slim tail section completes the overall looks of the supermoto concept. 

Engine and Underpinnings

The TVS RTSx supermoto concept is powered by the brand-new RT-XD4 299cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which TVS unveiled at the 2024 MotoSoul event. The engine makes 35PS at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm at 7,000rpm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. TVS claims the motorcycle will do the 0-100kmph sprint in 6.3 seconds. 

The RTSx concept gets a trellis frame, suspension includes, an inverted telescopic fork and a pre-load adjustable monoshock. Braking is handled by a 300mm petal disc at the front and a 240mm petal disc at the rear with dual-channel switchable ABS. The motorcycle has a small 8.2-litre fuel tank, has a seat height of 875mm and a kerb weight of just 143kg. 

Features

While we don't know the exact features list of the motorcycle, the bike does get bi-directional quickshift to give a seamless quick shifting experience. 

Expected Price and Launch Date

The motorcycle is still in its concept avatar and it is difficult to tell how much it would actually cost. We expect the motorcycle to launch sometime in 2026 and the supermoto category is still quite unknown in India.
