Two-Wheeler News Wrapup: Royal Enfield Classic 650, Royal Enfield Bear 650, Honda Activa Electric And More

This week was all about EICMA 2024 as the whole world’s eyes descended upon the motor show in Milan, Italy. Also, a new electric motorcycle from an Indian EV maker was launched as well. Here are the highlights:

Oben Rorr EZ Launched

The Oben Rorr EZ was launched and is offered in three variants with different battery capacities. The bike has a 7.5kW motor with a claimed top speed of 95kmph. The claimed range varies from 110km to 175km across the variants.

EICMA 2024

Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield unveiled the Flying Flea C6, its first electric motorcycle and the Classic 650 at the motor show. Also, the Bear 650 was launched as well. 

Hero MotoCorp

Hero MotoCorp unveiled the bigger capacity XPulse 210 along with the new Karizma XMR 250 and the Xtreme 250R. Also, an Mavrick 440 with inverted fork and a 420cc XPulse concept bike was revealed as well. The Vida Z was also unveiled and it is offered in various battery capacities from 2.2kWh to 4.4kWh

Ultraviolette

Ultraviolette Automotive revealed the Concept X road-biased ADV at EICMA 2024. The EV maker also launched the F77 Mach 2 in Europe.

KTM

The long-awaited KTM 390 Adventure R was unveiled at EICMA 2024. Based on the ADV, the 390 Enduro and 390 SMC were also unveiled at the motor show.

Honda

Honda unveiled the CUV e scooter and we think the upcoming Activa Electric could be based on this EV. A new V3, supercharged engine was also revealed, to be used in its future bikes. The Japanese manufacturer also announced its updated lineup for 2025.

Aprilia 

Aprilia unveiled the all-new 457 Tuono at the motor show. The naked bike is based on the RS 457. Along with this, its lineup of the RS 660, Tuono 660, RSV4, Tuono V4 and Tuareg Rally were also updated.

Ducati

Ducati unveiled the next-gen Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 at EICMA 2024. Power output of both have gone down but the bikes are lighter now
