Tata Curvv spotted with ADAS module on board
Likely to get ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, front and rear collision warning, and high beam assist
Interior cabin will feature minimalist design with dual screen setup for infotainment system and driver’s display
The Curvv’s EV variant will go on sale first and then the internal combustion engine powered one
Tata Motors’ upcoming SUV-coupe, the Curvv has been spotted testing on our roads, this time with an ADAS camera module on board, hinting it could get this important safety feature. We have already seen ADAS in Tata’s other cars such as the recently facelifted Harrier and Safari. And one can expect the Curvv’s ADAS suite to be nearly identical to the aforementioned cars.
The Curvv’s ADAS package could include features like adaptive cruise control, front and rear collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, blind spot detection, and high beam assist. Apart from the ADAS, the Curvv is expected to get safety features like ABS with EBD, up to six airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree camera.
We had earlier obtained spy shots showcasing the rear profile of the Curvv EV along with other exterior design details. It features an overall sporty design with a sloping roofline and connected LED headlights and taillights. You can take a closer look at the spy images right here.

Underneath the hood, the internal combustion engine variant of the Curvv will likely get a 125 PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. Transmission choices are yet to be revealed, but it could feature the 7-speed DCT automatic transmission offered with the Nexon facelift. While details about the electric powertrain are limited, what we do know is that it will be based on Tata's Gen2 platform and will boast a claimed range of up to 500 km.
Tata will launch the Curvv’s EV version first and then its internal combustion engine (ICE) powered variant. The Curvv EV is expected to be priced around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it in contention with EVs like MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric while the ICE-powered Curvv is expected to be priced around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom), competing with cars like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq.
