Upcoming Two-Wheeler Launches In November 2023

From an ADV and a supersport to electric scooters and an e-moped, November has quite a lot in store for us

The month of October was a pretty exciting one with several launches and unveilings. If you think all the two-wheeler launches for this year are over, then the month of November has some surprises for you. Here’s a lowdown of all the two-wheelers being launched this month - 

Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 (Expected Price - Rs 2.8 Lakh)

The highly-anticipated Himalayan 452 has been revealed by Royal Enfield but the specs haven’t been shared except for the fact that it will be powered by a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 40PS and will come paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The ADV is due for its unveil at EICMA 2023 on November 7, 2023, with the launch likely happening in the following days.

Recently, Royal Enfield shared a YouTube video of the Himalayan 452 where they showed a graph outlining the greater torque output of the upcoming motorcycle compared to the current model. From the graph, it looks like the motorcycle will get a peak torque output of 40Nm at 5,000rpm. 

Ducati Scrambler 2G Range (Expected Price - Rs 12 Lakh)

Last year, Ducati unveiled the next generation of Scrambler 800s in three variants: Icon, Full Throttle and Nightshift. Ducati’s India website lists the Full Throttle and Nightshift’s tentative prices at Rs 12 Lakh and the icon’s tentative price at Rs 10.39 Lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Bookings are open officially for all three variants and they will be launched sometime in November. 

Aprilia RS 457 (Expected Price - Rs 4.25 Lakh)

The Aprilia RS 457 was already unveiled globally and then in India during the month of September 2023 and its price will likely be announced this month. The supersport is powered by a 457cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine producing 47.6PS. It gets the true-blue supersport design with an aggressive-looking front-end, similar to the Aprilia RS660.

The highly desirable Rs 457 comes equipped with ride-by-wire technology, 3 riding modes and 3 levels of traction control. Its main rival will be the Kawasaki Ninja 400 and the KTM RC 390

Kinetic e-Luna (Expected Price - Rs 80,000 - 90,000)

The Kinetic e-Luna is expected to make its debut this month. Its top speed should be around 50kmph and a claimed IDC range of 100km. The e-Luna is expected to fetch a price tag of around the Rs 80,000 - Rs 90,000 mark (ex-showroom including subsidies).

Yamaha R3 And MT-03 (Expected Price - Rs 4 Lakh and Rs 3.80 Lakh)

The arrival of the Yamaha R3 and the MT-03 have been in the pipeline for a while now and both motorcycles are expected to be launched in India either by the end of this month or on the first week of December 2023. Both the R3 and the MT-03 were showcased during the MotoGP IndianOil Grand Prix of India weekend. 

The Yamaha R3 is powered by a 321cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine producing 42PS and 29.5Nm. The MT-03 shares the same engine but produces 0.1Nm more torque. 

Honorable Mention - 

Ather 450X and 450S HR Variants

Ather is expected to introduce the HR (High Range) variants of the 450X and 450S this month. We already have a fair idea from a homologation document of what the 450S HR will pack and also a recent homologation document also revealed the same about the 450X HR.  The 450S HR will get a 156km certified range while the 450X HR will get a 158km certified range.
