The ZX 125 is the most affordable Vepa model in the portfolio which too crosses the Rs 1 lakh mark. The scooters continue to employ a retro appeal with minimalist styling. The other 125cc retro-style scooters like the Yamaha Fascino 125 and Suzuki Access 125 are over Rs 30,000-35,000 more affordable and come packed with modern features. The Fascino 125 gets a segment first mild hybrid system, whereas the Access 125 features turn-by-turn navigation.
The Elegante 150 is the most premium scooter in Vespa’s Indian line up and is powered by a 149cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine producing 10.4PS. The Yamaha Aerox 155, which falls in the same engine capacity segment, is priced at Rs 1,38,800 (ex-showroom Delhi). Moreover, the Aerox is a proper maxi performance scooter which is powered by a Yamaha R15-derived 155cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 15PS and 13Nm and comes packed with best-in-class features.
That said, if you are looking for a no-nonsense, classy looking OG retro-styled scooter, then Vespa has a wide range of scooters for you to choose from.
