The Elevate is a brand new Honda car we’ll be seeing in India after a span of around seven years. It made its global debut on our shores and is set for an India launch in the upcoming festive season. And if you had your eyes on one, you’ll be happy to know that Honda dealerships are already taking offline bookings for the upcoming Hyundai Creta rival.
The Honda Elevate is a bit over 4.3 metres long and, with its wheelbase at 2,650mm, is one of the longest in its segment. With Honda being one of the masters in squeezing out as much cabin space as possible, the Elevate also has a decent amount of space inside the cabin. But how comfortable is the Elevat’s cabin for people over six feet?
To find that out, we asked our office’s tallest member, Tushar Kamath, who is six feet five inches tall, to give it a try both in the front seat and at the back. Does he manage to fit inside the compact SUV? Find out for yourself by watching this reel:
Do note that we got very limited time to spend with the Honda Elevate and that’s why we couldn’t bring you a detailed overview of its comfort levels. However, we’ll definitely be answering that in our in-depth first-drive review. So stay tuned.
To take a closer look at Honda's upcoming compact SUV, head to our detailed image gallery. We suspect its prices to start around the Rs 12-lakh mark, putting it in contention with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, and the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross.
