Volkswagen has been constantly updating its volume sellers – the Taigun and Virtus – with plenty of special editions in 2023. For 2024, the brand might unveil its first electric vehicle for India: the ID.4. Apart from that, the existing Virtus and Taigun could receive upgrades to keep up with the competition. Here’s what to expect:
The Taigun and Virtus could get model year updates to keep them fresh amidst rising competition. While no mechanical changes are expected, Volkswagen could incorporate minor exterior changes along with some new feature additions, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These updates will help the Virtus and Taigun stay up to date in its segment.
Volkswagen could also bring its first electric offering for India in the form of the ID.4 GTX. Reason why we could get the fully blown performance model is because a test mule of the car was spotted on Indian roads. Apart from better performance, the ID.4 GTX also looks hot with its bespoke sporty design touches. For more details on the ID.4, read our unveiling story.
What would you choose from these aforementioned vehicles? The conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) model or the new-age electric vehicle? Comment your answer along with the reasoning for the same below.
