Tata Motors has recently launched the Altroz CNG in the country with prices starting from Rs 7.55 lakh (ex-showroom). Along with its intuitive twin-cylinder technology, Tata Motors also took this as an opportunity to silently update the hatchback with new features. And yes, it gets one feature which we Indians love: a sunroof.
You can operate the sunroof via its designated switch, but if you’re a bit lazy like this author, you can use voice commands to activate it. And the interesting bit here is that apart from English, you can operate it by speaking in either Hindi or Hinglish. Our bossman Ameya Dandekar gives it a go in Hindi, and you can see how it responds in the reel below:
It’s not just the sunroof that the voice command system supports, but you can also use certain features of the infotainment system using this assist. Apart from that, the other new features the Altroz CNG debuted is a wireless phone charger and air purifier. These new features have also been made available with all powertrain options of the hatchback.
The Tata Altroz’ prices range from Rs 6.6 lakh to Rs 10.74 lakh (ex-showroom). With these feature additions, it does make for a more compelling case against the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Toyota Glanza.
