This week saw a lot of action in the Indian two-wheeler industry. In case you missed out on them, here’s a lowdown on the biggest two-wheeler news stories of the week:
Rajiv Bajaj revealed in an interview that the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be launched between April and June 2024. It will be the biggest capacity Pulsar yet after launch. He also confirmed that within that same timeframe, an all-new Bajaj CNG bike will be launched. Check out the details here.
Also, Bajaj trademarked four names: Trekker, Marathon, Glider and Freedom. We think those names could be for an ADV, sports tourer or even the CNG bike that Bajaj is planning on launching in a few month’s time.
KTM updated all the models in its RC and Adventure range with new colour schemes but the best thing is, the prices have remained unchanged.
Ather Energy’s CEO Tarun Mehta and co-founder Swapnil Jain provided an insight into some of Ather Rizta’s features like the underseat storage, USB charging and others. The EV maker is planning to launch an OTA update called the “Ather Stack 6”. Also, WWE superstar, the Great Khali was featured in an Ather teaser ad highlighting the massive seat the Rizta will come equipped with.
Ola Electric extended the deadline for the discounts on the S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X+ till the end of March 2024. Also, the EV maker announced the S1 range tallied 35,000 registrations during February 2024, which is the highest in its history.
History was created this week as the Ampere NXG broke 2 records during its ride from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Also, the EV maker trademarked two names, leading us to believe that one of the two could be the final name of the upcoming production-spec NXG scooter.
