Yamaha Lander 250 Dual Sport Unveiled At Auto Expo 2025

Yamaha India has unveiled the Lander 250 dual-sport at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The Lander 250 is a proper dual-sport which the brand sells in the Brazilian market. With the kind of offroad capabilities it has to offer, the Lander 250 will make a really good rival to the Kawasaki KLX230.

The Lander 250 has a styling which is a mix between a dual-sport and ADV. It gets a LED headlight and a beak-like fender integrated. The bike overall has an aggressive look and styling, which is quite reminiscent of what we have already seen on other bikes in the Yamaha lineup.

Powering the Lander 250 is a 249cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 20.5PS and 20.1Nm. The engine is the same as the one which Yamaha used on the now-discontinued Yamaha FZ25. 

In terms of underpinnings, the Yamaha Lander 250 has a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The front suspension has 220mm of travel whereas the rear monoshock offers 204mm of travel. The bike has a ground clearance of 240mm, which will make it quite capable offroad. That said, the bike has a rather tall seat height of 875mm, something which shorter riders may struggle with.

The bike rolls on a 21-inch front and a 18-inch rear spoke wheel setup. Braking duties are handled by a 245mm front and a 203mm rear disc brake setup.

Coming to the features, the Lander 250 features a LCD console which offers readouts like speed, fuel level, trip and odomter readouts.

The Lander 250 is a proper dual-sport and could be launched by the end of 2025, with a price of around Rs 1.7 lakh to Rs 2 lakh ex-showroom.
