Yamaha XSR 155 To Launch In India Soon

The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has released the two-wheeler sales data for July 2022 and Yamaha, a favourite marque among motorcycle enthusiasts in India, has seen a small Month-on-Month (MoM) growth. Here’s how many two-wheelers the Japanese bikemaker sold in the month of July:

Among motorcycles, the R15 series, comprising both V4 and the ‘S’ based on the V3, saw the largest, 12.35 per cent MoM increase, followed by a 7.6 per cent increase in the MT-15 V2’s sales. The two other motorcycles, the FZ Series which is Yamaha’s best-seller and the FZ 25 saw a 1.65 per cent and 22.29 per cent decrease in sales, respectively.

The Fascino 125 registered the biggest sales jump among all Yamaha two-wheelers, registering an 18.42 per cent MoM increase. The RayZR 125, on the other hand, saw a tiny 0.6 per cent decrease in sales in July as opposed to June 2022.
The month of July was a relatively lukewarm one for Yamaha, with it registering a 4.9 per cent increase in overall sales. That said, things might change when the bikemaker launches the R7 and the MT-09 in India sometime later this year.Yamaha XSR 155 To Launch In India Soon
