Last week, we spotted some new Yezdi bikes at a dealer event. Now, some new videos have surfaced on the internet about the same event, providing us some new information about some more bikes, including factory custom versions of the Yezdi Scrambler and Yezdi Adventure.
As we’ve said in the earlier story about this dealer meet, the red bike could be a preview of the upcoming Roadking 350. So, the other bike on the extreme left with the black colour scheme could be the upcoming Yezdi Roadking 500. As evident by the huge radiator, the motor will be a liquid-cooled unit. It is most likely based on BSA’s 650cc engine, with BSA also being owned by Classic Legends. Since BSA is more a premium brand and Yezdi is the more accessible one, making a smaller capacity engine to keep the costs down makes sense. With this taken into consideration, the displacement could be around 450-500cc. The engine also gets fins for the retro aesthetic purpose.
As a throwback to the original Roadking, the new bike gets a raked-out front-end, circular headlight and indicators, twin-pod instrument console, bench seat, simple side panels and the boxy yet sleek fuel tank. To make it fit for the modern world, the headlight, taillight and the turn indicators are LED units. Suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and a monoshock while braking duties will be taken care of by disc brakes at both ends. The Roadking gets Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres (likely to be 110-section front and 130-section rear units).
The other bike spotted is a factory custom version of the Yezdi Scrambler called the Yezdi Streetfighter 334. It is heavily based on the scrambler and gets the same 334cc, single-cylinder engine, telescopic fork and gas-charged twin rear shock absorbers. Changes from the scrambler include vertically stacked twin end-cans with heat wrapped header pipes, ribbed single-piece seat with a different texture and lowered triple clamp and a flatter handlebar for a slightly more leaned in posture. It gets a USB charging port for added practicality.
There was also a factory custom version of the Yezdi Adventure called the Yezdi Adventure Rally Pro (could also be called the Yezdi Adven-X) as well. It gets more premium rear view mirrors with adjustable stalk, handguards, sleeker looking split-seat setup, braced handlebar, knobby tyres, tail tidy and bungee hooks just below the seat. The Yezdi Customs sticker on the fuel tank further cements the fact that these are factory custom models. Expect the Roadking 500 to be launched by the end of 2024. It will go up against the QJ Motor SRC 500, Harley-Davidson X440, Hero Mavrick 440, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and the Triumph Speed 400.
