Yezdi has introduced two new gloss finish paint schemes for the Roadster: Glacial White, and Inferno Red. While the Inferno Red gives the Roadster a somewhat sportier look, we feel the Glacial White is the one that gels best with the Roadster’s overall silhouette and purpose.
A price tag of Rs 2,01,142 (ex-showroom Delhi) makes the two new colours, along with the Smoke Grey colour scheme, the most affordable variants of the Roadster.
Along with the three aforementioned colours, the roadster is also available in pre-existing colours like the Sin Silver, Hunter Green, Gallant Grey and Steel Blue. The other colour schemes in the Dark variant retail at Rs 2,05,142. For the top-of-the-line Chrome lineup, you will have to shell out Rs 2,09,142 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
There are no mechanical changes on the bike. It’s still powered by the Jawa Perak-derived 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 29.7PS and 29Nm.
In terms of features, you get a digital instrument console. The dark variants, which include the new colour schemes, get a blacked-out theme, short flyscreen and bar-end mirrors which accentuate the Roadster's retro appeal. The chrome variants, on the other hand, get metallic finish on the engine and exhaust, a taller windscreen and conventional mirrors.
