Some of the Tata dealerships have started to take unofficial bookings of the Tata Curvv and Curvv EV, which will make its India debut on August 7, 2024. Post its unveiling, the EV version of the SUV coupe is expected to be launched first, followed by the ICE model. If you have your eyes set on the upcoming Curvv, you can have yours booked by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000.
Looks-wise, the Curvv’s (ICE and EV) stand out element will be its SUV-coupe body style, which sets it apart from its rivals. It will borrow design elements from other Tata models, especially the Nexon, Harrier and Safari. These include connected DRLs and LED tail lamps along with sleek LED headlights. The electric Curvv should also get a closed grille, tweaked bumpers and different alloys to stand out from its ICE counterpart.
In terms of features, both the Curvv and Curvv EV is expected to get a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, multi-colour ambient lighting, and wireless phone charging.
The safety features should include multiple ADAS features, six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, hill hold and hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, three point seatbelts for all occupants, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
For the ICE version, we expect Tata to bring in both petrol and diesel engines with the Curvv, featuring a new 125 PS/ 225 Nm 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo petrol and a 115 PS/260 Nm 1.5-litre turbo diesel unit sourced from the Nexon.
