Following the launch of the 2023 Harrier facelift on October 17, Tata Motors has begun its deliveries right in time for Diwali. This marks the first design update for the Harrier since its introduction in 2019. The 2023 Harrier is available in four different trims and offers a choice of seven colours.
The 2023 Harrier facelift takes its design inspiration from the Curvv concept and features a new closed-off grille with silver inserts. It also gets connected LED DRLs at the front and tail lamps at the rear with welcome and goodbye animations, along with a revised bumper that complements its aggressive appearance. Additionally, the Harrier now rides on 18-inch (19s in Dark Edition) alloy wheels.
The cabin of the 2023 Harrier has received an update and gets features like a larger 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, a 10-speaker JBL sound system, a panoramic sunroof, electrically-adjustable and ventilated seats for front-row passengers, a powered tailgate with gesture-based opening, wireless phone charging, and a dual-zone climate control.

Apart from the standard safety features such as ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and ISOFIX child mounts, it also gets up to 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
Powering the 2023 Harrier facelift is the 2-litre diesel engine which puts out 170PS/350Nm paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.8kmpl for the manual and 14.6kmpl for the automatic transmission. A petrol engine is expected later down the road.
The 2023 Tata Harrier is priced between Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 26.44 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with models such as the Mahindra XUV 700 (5-seater variants), MG Hector, Jeep Compass, Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta.
