As seen above in the table, you have to shell out an extra of Rs 20,000 for the Elegance Edition over the top-spec Style variants of both the models. And here’s what it packs:
Both models are finished in this lovely looking Deep Black colour hue. And for that added bit of contrast, you'll notice that extra chrome trims on the lower door garnish and grille. Apart from that, they also get 'Elegance' badging on the B-pillar, setting them apart from the standard variants of the car. The Slavia also features a trunk garnish finished in chrome and a scuff plate with 'Slavia' inscription. As for the wheel sizes, the Kushaq Elegance Edition rides on 17-inch dual-tone alloys, while the Slavia rides on 16-inch dual-tone alloys.
Inside, you will notice the 'Elegance' badging on the steering wheel along with bespoke floor mats, and seat cushions having similar ‘Elegance’ embossing. It also comes with aluminium pedals and gets features like powered seats for front-row passengers.
Other features include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay, a digital instrument cluster, up to 8-speaker sound system with subwoofer, automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, single-pane sunroof and ambient lighting.
Safety features include ABS with EBD, six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, a tyre-pressure monitoring system, and rear camera with parking sensors.
The Elegance Editions of both the cars are exclusively offered with 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine which puts out 150PS and 250Nm. You get the choice to configure this with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. Other variants of the Slavia also get the 115PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine.
There’s just one catch and that is the fact that both these editions will be on shelves for a limited period of time. So be quick if you want one of these all-black cars from Skoda. The Slavia rivals the likes of the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and Hyundai Verna, while the Kushaq rivals the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, VW Taigun, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross and the Kia Seltos.
