Fancy taking a look at the 2024 new-gen Swift in real life? Well, we have good news for you. The Swift is now available on display at dealerships. It is priced Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings are underway for the new Swift, in case you want to get your hands on one. 

After a long wait, the new-generation of the Swift was launched on May 9. The hatchback has been significantly upgraded in terms of design,cabin and features, making it feel more premium than before. 

The new Swift is available in 5 broad trims: LXi, VXi, VXI (O), ZXi, and ZXi+. It can be had with 6 monotone and 3 dual-tone colour options. These include: Sizzling Red, Luster Blue, Novel Orange, Magma Grey, Splendid Silver, and Pearl Arctic White. The red, blue, and white hues can be had with a dual-tone option as well.

Step inside and you will notice a cabin similar to that of the Baleno, albeit in a black hue with silver highlights, which makes the hatchback feel upmarket than before. It also gets new features including a 9-inch touchscreen system with wireless phone charger, a wireless phone charger, rear AC vents and 6 airbags as standard. Underneath the hood, you get a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine which produces 82 PS and 112 Nm. It can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. The new engine delivers a claimed mileage of 24.8 kmpl with the manual transmission and 25.75 with the automatic transmission.
