Force Motors has recently updated the Gurkha 3-door model and launched the Gurkha 5-door model with an added row of seats and extra set of doors. With the new models reaching dealerships soon after the launch, the deliveries for the Gurkha have commenced across the country. So, if you have been eyeing on the updated Gurkha models, now’s the time to visit your nearest dealership to book yourself one.
Force has launched the 5 door version of the Gurkha with an elongated wheelbase to accommodate additional seating and doors for the second row. The overall silhouette remains the same, but few cosmetic changes such as new 18-spoke alloys have been implemented along with few feature additions and a more powerful drivetrain.
Furthermore, the Gurkha 5 door now gets an additional third row of captain seats. It retains its off-road-specific and purpose-built design with the overhead snorkel, roof rack and ladder at the rear.

Features onboard the Gurkha include a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 7-inch digital driver’s display. There are overhead AC vents for the second and third row occupants. On the safety front it gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system and rear parking sensors.
The updated Force Gurkha models are powered by a Mercedes-sourced 2.6-litre turbo diesel unit mated to a 5-speed manual transmission producing 140 PS and 320 Nm. Both the models get a four-wheel drive system with shift-on-the-fly functionality. Its manual front and rear differential lock enhances its off-road prowess.
