We earlier brought you news that the Honda Elevate will reach dealerships in the middle of August. Following up on the same, the model has now been spotted at dealerships, for you to take a first-hand look. Plus, test drives should commence real soon too, with pre-launch bookings already underway.
Honda Cars India will announce the prices of the Elevate in the first week of September. It will be available in four broad trims: SV, V, VX and ZX. The manual will be standard across the lineup, while the auto ‘box will be limited to the top three trims, taking the total variant count to seven. You can check out the variant-wise powertrain and colour options of the Honda Elevate here.
In terms of features, the Honda Elevate packs a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a single-pane sunroof, wireless phone charger and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Safety is taken care of by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, electronic stability control, and most importantly, ADAS.
While the Elevate checks almost all the boxes in terms of features, it still misses out on a handful of kit its immediate rival, the Kia Seltos, gets. You can check out the details in this report.

The Honda Elevate will be offered with just one engine option – a 1.5-litre petrol belting out 121PS and 145Nm – mated with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT. There won’t be a strong-hybrid powertrain on offer, though an all-electric version is under development. To know our impressions on the Elevate, check out our in-depth first drive review.
We suspect the prices of the Honda Elevate may start from around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). It will lock horns with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, VW Taigun and the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross.
