Your Maruti Suzuki Swift May Take Up To A Month To Arrive At Your Doorstep

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift, now in its fourth-gen avatar has been launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Swift has always been a crowd favourite hatchback in our country with over 2.97 million units sold since it was launched in 2005. With the new model entering our market, it is bound to get sold in good numbers, and so Maruti Suzuki is leaving no stones unturned to cater to the high demand of the hatchback across the country. Listed down below are the tentative waiting periods for the Swift in major cities throughout India.

It is pretty evident from the table above that interested customers will likely have to wait a minimum for a month to get their hands on the new Swift. Cities like the national capital Delhi and nearby regions like Noida, comparatively have lesser waiting periods than the rest of the cities mentioned. All the other cities get a waiting period of 1-2 months depending on the variant’s availability at the select dealerships. 

The 2024 Swift is powered by the new Z Series 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 82 PS and 112 Nm. It can be opted in either a 5-speed manual or an AMT automatic transmission. The Swift is offered in 5 broad trim levels and 6 different colour hues (3 dual-tone options included). 

Interior niceties include a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charger, keyless entry and push button start/stop. Its safety features encompass 6-airbags, ABS with ESP as standard along with Hill-Hold and Hill-Start assist. 

Priced from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.65 lakh (ex-showroom), it rivals other hatchbacks like the Tata Tiago, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Citroen C3.
