You Can Now Book The 2022 Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder At Select Dealerships

Had your eyes set on the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder? Well, you’ll be glad to know that select dealerships have commenced offline bookings across the country. The upcoming Hyundai Creta challenger will be revealed on July 01, and series production will commence in August. 

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is an important model for Toyota as it enters the hotly contested compact SUV segment ruled by the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. It will be developed by Suzuki, but manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant in Karnataka. It will also spawn a Suzuki version, which is expected to arrive soon after the Toyota SUV. 

The Urban Cruiser’s main USP is in the powertrains department. It will get a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild and segment-first strong hybrid tech. Another introduction by this SUV in its segment is all-wheel drive with the mild-hybrid option, which will also get an optional automatic transmission.
