The new-generation MPV will debut in India on November 25.

To get petrol and strong-hybrid powertrains, diesel option to be skipped.
Likely to cost around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
The Toyota Innova Hycross has been grabbing headlines quite frequently ever since the carmaker revealed its November 25 debut date in India. Up until now, the MPV was spied on multiple occasions while completing its testing miles in the country, but now we have its first look without any camouflage in Indonesia, where it will globally debut first.
The spied image gives us a look at the Innova hycross’ front end, which, as depicted by previous spy shots, is a chunky one. The fascia is split between two parts – the main grille having a trapezoidal shape similar to the Crysta, while below, the grille has triangular-shaped faux air dam elements on the bumper. You can also see the sleek LED headlamps flanking the grille. Overall, the front-end design is more of an evolution of the Innova Crysta.
The second image gives a look at the side profile of the car, although it's a restricted one. It doesn’t look like much is going on as the profile is a clean one with a couple of creases only. An undisguised look for the rear-end is still something we will have to wait for.

The new-generation MPV will get a lot of firsts for the Innova moniker, including 2-litre petrol and strong-hybrid powertrains as well as a monocoque chassis. Check out our story to know all the powertrain specifications.
The series of firsts also includes confirmed new features like a panoramic sunroof and floating touchscreen system. The latter was confirmed in the recent spotting of the MPV in India.
We also expect Toyota to offer other premium features like ventilated front seats, a heads-up display (HUD) and a 360-degree camera. The Innova Hycross will also become the first Toyota in the country to get an ADAS suite, comprising features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and forward-collision prevention.
The carmaker will retail the new-generation MPV alongside the current Innova Crysta and offer a more premium alternative to the Kia Carens and Mahindra Marazzo, while being an affordable proposition to the Kia Carnival. It is expected to carry a premium over the existing model and could be priced around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
