Exclusive: The Skoda Kushaq Elegance In 6 Images

Skoda India has introduced the Kushaq Elegance Edition on our shores, priced from Rs 18.31 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s basically the all-black version of the Skoda Kushaq, with a couple of cosmetic enhancements and features. So without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about this special edition, which is available on shelves for a limited time. 

The main talking point about the Skoda Kushaq Elegance Edition is that it’s finished in this rather lovely Deep Black hue. For an added bit of contrast, the grille and lower door garnish are finished in chrome. This particular doesn’t have it as these are dealer-level fitments and will be installed at the time of delivery.

The Kushaq Elegance Edition rolls on 17-inch dual-tone alloys and also gets ‘Elegance’ badging on the B-pillar to denote that this is the special edition model you’re driving. 

Inside, the dashboard layout and design is unchanged. However, this being the Elegance Edition, it gets a couple of additions. For starters, you get pillows and neck cushions with ‘Elegance’ embossing. The steering wheel also has a trim with the special edition’s name on it. Lower down, you get aluminium pedals and bespoke textile mats. Once again, all these additional extras will be installed at the time of delivery. 

Since this edition is based on the higher-end Style trim, you get almost all the niceties, details of which can be found here. 

You can only get the Skoda Kushaq Elegance Edition with the larger 150 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, driving the front wheels via either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 115 PS 1-litre unit isn’t offered with this version. 

The Skoda Kushaq locks horns with other compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate.
