The Hyundai Creta N Line is basically the sportier version of the popular SUV with design tweaks and mechanical upgrades, the latter aiding its driving dynamics. It is available in two broad trims, the N8 and N10, and if you're considering the base-spec N8 variant, here's a complete walkaround of it in 8 images.
The Creta N Line base version looks identical to the top-end variant. It gets the sportier rectangular grille with N Line badging and a redesigned bumper with red inserts, which enhance the SUV's overall sporty character.
Moving on to the sides, the red inserts on the body cladding provide a nice contrasting touch, especially in the white shade of the pictured model. Like the top-spec variant, the N8 also features 18-inch alloy wheels with a sportier multi-spoke design.

At the rear, the spoiler and the sporty bumper with a dual-tip exhaust system further enhance the SUV's aggressive appearance. Other design elements like red inserts on the bumper and N Line badging complete its design.
Inside, the N8 variant gets a sporty black theme cabin with red accents, complemented by leather upholstery. You also get N Line-specific components such as the bespoke 3-spoke steering wheel and the N Line-specific gear knob. That said, it does not get the headrest cushions and red ambient lighting, for which you have to upgrade to the top-spec N10 variant.
The N8 variant comes equipped with almost all features one would need such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, electronic parking brake, wireless phone charger, drive modes, paddle shifters (for automatic variants), cruise control, and type-C charging ports for front and rear passengers.
It misses out on premium amenities like a digital driver’s display, powered driver seats, ventilated front-row seats, 8-speaker Bose premium sound system, and connected car tech. All of these features are available in the top-end N10 variant.
On the safety front, the N8 variant lacks ADAS features such as forward collision warning, lane keep assist and drive attention warning, but comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a reverse parking camera with parking sensors.
With the N8 variant, you have only the sole option of a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 160 PS and 253 Nm. It can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Hyundai claims the Creta N Line does 0 to 100 kmph in 8.9 seconds.
Prices for the Creta N Line N8 variant start from Rs 16.82 lakh and go up to Rs 18.47 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the transmission choice you pick. It rivals the likes of the Kia Seltos X-Line while serving a sportier alternative to the VW Taigun, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
