Ready for a fresh take on SUVs? The MG Majestor just made its entrance at the Auto Expo 2025, and it’s creating quite the buzz. With a stunning design overhaul and some serious upgrades, this flagship SUV promises a lot. Let’s take a closer look at the MG Majestor:
The face of the Majestor is impossible to ignore. The front features a larger, more imposing grille paired with vertically stacked LED headlights, sitting above sleek LED DRLs for a bold, futuristic look.
The updated fascia gives it a more upright stance while maintaining the mean SUV face.
From the side, the Majestor’s muscular profile commands attention, with newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels adding an extra dose of character along with outgoing chunkier cladding protruding from the wheel arches.

At the rear, the connected LED taillights create a striking visual impression, while the revised bumper with dual exhausts compliments the overall design.
The MORRIS GARAGES badging is totally unmissable in typical MG fashion.
While MG has still not revealed the interior of the Majestor, but we expect it to offer a whole new cabin.
With an upgraded dashboard layout and fresh cabin theme, it could be loaded with features, including a massive infotainment system with conveniences like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver’s display, a wireless phone charger and more!
We could also expect comfort features like 12-way powered seats with massage and ventilation, along with three-zone climate control. Panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting, too are expected.
When it comes to safety, we can expect the Majestor to be equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, ISOFIX mounts, and Level-2 ADAS to keep you and your passengers protected on every journey.
While MG has not confirmed we expect it to be offered with two powerful diesel engine options.
The first is a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that delivers 161 PS and 374 Nm, while the second is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel producing 216 PS and 479 Nm.
Both engines are to be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, offering a smooth and responsive driving experience.
With its premium features and powerful performance, the MG Majestor is expected to start at around Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with top players like the Toyota Fortuner Legender, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq, making its mark as a worthy rival in the D+ segment.
The MG Majestor is not replacing the Gloster, but it will continue to be sold alongside. We expect it to be sold through MG’s premium outlet, i.e. the MG Select, which could justify its premium placement.
