MG Launches Updated Gloster At Rs 32 Lakh

• New Gloster still available in three variants in 6-seater and 7-seater layouts. 

• Continues to be powered by 2-litre turbo and twin-turbo diesel powertrains. 

• New Deep Golden colour option added, black, grey and white options present as before.  

• 4x4 option gets new turbine-themed alloy wheels. 

MG Motor has launched the revised Gloster at Rs 32 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). The relatively minor update brings a wider array of tech features to the flagship MG SUV, including improvements to the i-Smart system and advanced driver assistance and active safety features. 

2022 MG Gloster price 

The new Gloster comes with a hike in prices and now pushes beyond Rs 40 lakh for the top-spec variants. A 6-seater option is only available on the top-spec Savvy variant with 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains. 

What’s new in the MG Gloster?

On the outside, the Gloster seems mostly identical to the outgoing model. The latest iteration gets a new Deep Golden paint shade in addition to Metal Black, Metal Ash (grey) and Warm White paint shades. In addition, the 4x4 variants get a new British Windmill Turbine-themed rims. 

MG has improved the i-Smart system with over 75 connected car features, including a new remote control function in the app. 

In addition, the ADAS suite now includes important updates such as rear cross traffic alert, lane change assist and door open warning.

The MG Gloster has numerous features befitting its segment such as three-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, 12-way powered driver’s seat with massage and ventilation, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and wireless phone charging. 

It continues to be powered by 2-litre turbo and twin-turbo diesel engines paired with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission. You can get a 4x4 option on the top-spec Savvy trim level in both 6-seater and 7-seater layouts.
