Triumph has launched the 2025 Speed Twin 900 in India, the motorcycle gets a new-updated look, better features list and fresh colours to make it more appealing than ever before. The price starts from Rs 8,89,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Triumph Speed Twin 900 gets a refreshed design for the 2025 iteration. Changes include sculpted fuel tank, smaller side panels and exhaust, leaner engine casing and a more compact headlight unit. The motorcycle is available in three colour options: White scheme with blue and orange stripes on the tank, a Phantom Black tank with dark grey stripes and gold accents, or an aluminium silver finish with a splash of red in the Triumph logo on the tank.
The Triumph Speed Twin 900 continues to get the same 900cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine which makes 65PS at 7,500rpm and 80Nm at 3,800rpm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Triumph has made a few changes to the swingarm of the motorcycle by making it lighter and stiffer than before which they claim will deliver better control over the motorcycle. The suspension duties are handled by a Marzocchi upside-down fork and twin Marzocchi shock absorbers with preload adjustment. The wheel travel has been slightly reduced at the rear which is now 110mm from 120mm on the previous iteration. The front brake has also been updated and it now gets a 320mm disc which is 10mm larger than the previous generation. Triumph has also tweaked the riding position which now offers more legroom than before and has a narrow reworked bench-styled seat.
The Triumph Speed Twin 900 is now loaded with features as it gets an LCD screen which has the tachometer, speedometer and the gear position indicator. The LCD screen also has an integrated TFT display which allows for two riding modes: Rain and Road, smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth allowing more turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts and music control. Other features include all-LED lighting, dual -channel cornering ABS, traction control, and a USB-C charging socket as standard. Customers also have the option of fitting cruise-control as an accessory.
The Triumph Speed Twin 900 goes against the Brixton Cromwell 1200 and the Ducati Scrambler 800 in India.
