Lectrix NDuro: What Does it Get?
The Lectrix NDuro comes with a rugged yet stylish design. It has a big round LED headlight mounted on the front apron. It has a long single-piece seat along with split grab rails and gets uniquely placed leg guards on both sides of the floorboard. The floorboard area looks spacious as well. The tail section looks sporty and sleek.
The Lectrix NDuro is equipped with a hub-mounted electric motor which provides a claimed top speed of 65kmph. The electric scooter claims to accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 5.1 seconds. It is available in 2 battery pack options: a 2.3kWh battery pack which delivers an IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of 90km on a single charge and a 3.0kWh battery pack that provides an IDC range of 117km on a single charge.
The NDuro has an LCD instrument console that includes basic info like speed, odometer, range, battery, and other basic telltale lights. It also comes with smartphone connectivity, which brings in features like live location tracking, emergency SOS, detailed ride analytics, and anti-theft alerts. It also gets a hill hold assist feature as standard. Moreover, the NDuro comes with a generous 42-litre of boot space.
The Lectrix NDuro gets a telescopic fork and twin rear shocks. It is fitted with 12-inch steel wheels on both ends, wrapped with tubeless tyres. The electric scooter also has a motorcycle-like tyre hugger at the rear.
Lectrix NDuro Battery Subscription Model
Lectrix is offering a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which is basically a battery subscription model, making the electric scooter more affordable and accessible to customers, as they don’t have to pay for the battery at once. The manufacturer offers two BaaS options:
the automobile community
1. Battery Leasing: In this model, customers can rent/subscribe to the battery on a monthly basis.
2. Battery Swapping + Leasing: In this model, customers can rent/subscribe to the battery and also use the brand’s swapping network to swap their discharged batteries with the fully charged ones just in a few minutes, which reduces the range anxiety from the riders’ minds.
Lectrix NDuro Rivals
The Lectrix NDuro electric scooter will go up against the other affordable high-speed electric scooters like the Ola S1 Z and Ola S1 X.
