- Powered by a 250W, 60V BLDC motor.
- Available in lithium-ion and lead acid battery variants.
- Promises a range of up to 60km.
Electric two-wheeler startup, Odysse Electric, has added two new low-speed electric scooters to its portfolio: E2Go and E2Go Lite, priced at Rs 52,999 and Rs 63,999 (both, ex-showroom Ahmedabad) respectively. These accessible scooters have been conceptualised to cater to the youth and women.
The e-scooters are powered by a 250 watt, 60V BLDC motor capable of achieving speeds of up to 25kmph. The only aspect differentiating the two scooters is the battery configuration. The E2Go Lite gets a 25AH lithium-ion battery and the standard variant comes with a 28AH lead-acid battery. While the latter takes five hours to charge completely, the lithium-ion unit not only takes an hour less but is also detachable. These scooters offer a range of 60km.
The E2Go features telescopic forks and dual-spring hydraulic shocks at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a disc up front and a drum brake at the rear. The e-scooter features three riding modes, reverse function, a digital instrument cluster, anti-theft motor locking mechanism, keyless entry, and USB charging.
The E2Go and E2Go Lite are available across nine dealerships in the country. The Odysse E2Go and E2Go Lite go up against the likes of the recently launched Eeve Ahava and Eeve Atreo, priced at Rs 55,900 and Rs 64,900 respectively. However, if you’re looking for slightly better performance, without really stretching your budget, check out the review of the Ampere Magnus Pro.
