Skoda Kushaq Gets A New Second-From-Base Ambition Classic Trim

• Kushaq Ambition Classic priced at Rs 12.69 lakh for MT and Rs 14.09 lakh for AT.
• It’s based on the Ambition trim and gets manual AC instead of automatic climate control.
• Cosmetic revisions include dual-tone body colour, suede upholstery, and chrome highlights.
• Offered with 115PS 1-litre TSI petrol engine only.
• Will be a limited edition model.

Skoda India has launched a new second-from-base Ambition Classic trim in the Kushaq. It’s based on the mid-spec Ambition trim and gets feature deletion and cosmetic trim additions. Like before, this trim will be limited to the 1-litre TSI engines, teamed with both manual and automatic transmissions.

The Skoda Kushaq Ambition Classic is Rs 1.7 lakh more expensive than the base-spec Active, and Rs 25,000 more affordable than the Ambition. Here are the changes made in this trim:

• Automatic climate control replaced by manual controls. 

• New suede black upholstery with honeycomb pattern. 

• Chrome garnish on the front bumper, doors, window line, and tailgates (limited to Style earlier). 

• Black roof for all colours except Carbon Steel Grey, which gets a white roof.

The Ambition Classic will get just the 115PS 1-litre TSI petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre TSI engine is limited to the top-spec Style.
