Inside, the Rapid’s dashboard is finished in a Tellur Grey shade and gets black leatherette seat covers with Alcantara. The limited edition sedan also gets additional features like a USB-powered air purifier, scuff plates with ‘Rapid’ branding, and more powerful headlights for better visibility at night.

Powering the Rapid Matte Edition is the VW Group’s 1-litre TSI petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed manual and optional 6-speed automatic transmissions.
This could be one of the last updates for the Skoda Rapid ahead of its successor’s arrival by early-2022. It locks horns with the Hyundai Verna, VW Vento, Honda City, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
