The Volkswagen Polo and Vento Matt Edition have been launched in the country, with deliveries commencing with immediate effect. The limited edition models have started reaching dealerships and bookings have begun as well. This sweet looking matt grey is limited to the top-spec variants of both models.

Prices of the Polo Matt Edition are exactly the same as the GT. However, the Vento Matt Edition is Rs 76,000 more affordable than the standard model.
That’s a sweet bargain, considering the Carbon Metallic Matt Grey shade complements the lines of the cars very well. Like the Rapid, both vehicles get contrasting black touches on the ORVMs, door handles, and rear spoiler. However, the gun metal alloy wheels have been retained from the standard model.
Inside, the Matt Edition’s dash is identical to the standard model. No changes have been made to the design, upholstery or trims. Even the features list is exactly the same as their respective variants they are based on.

Highlights include a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, climate control, a multi-info display, footwell lamps, and keyless entry. Safety is covered by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control.
Both models get the 110PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The special edition vehicles can’t be had with the 6-speed manual gearbox.
The Polo Matt Edition is the most affordable model you can buy with a matt paint finish right from the factory. The Polo GT TSI locks horns with the recently launched Hyundai i20 N Line. Meanwhile, this could be one of the last updates for the Vento before its successor arrives in 2022.
