Maruti Suzuki Jimny 

The Jimny was a car us auto enthusiasts were eagerly waiting to come to India. And Maruti Suzuki, who listened to our prayers, dropped this firecracker of an off-roader in 2023. New Hyundai Verna

One of India’s most popular compact sedans, the Hyundai Verna, got a generation update this year. However, it started off with controversy due to its bold styling. But that didn’t stop this bomb from shattering the segment when it comes to sales, usurping every rival and taking the top spot. Maruti Suzuki Fronx

With the Fronx, Maruti Suzuki has brought its pocket rocket 1-litre Boosterjet engine back, which is versatile and mighty fun to drive. Hyundai Exter

The Exter is Hyundai’s attempt at the extremely successful Tata Punch, which has skyrocketing sales numbers. And the better part is that the Korean marque did manage to make a dent with the Exter’s good looks, practical cabin and refined powertrain. 2023 Kia Seltos 

2023 Kia Seltos is one of the cars in this list that made a lot of noise this year. Kia brought in the revised Seltos with even better looks, an upmarket interior and plenty of features. Honda Elevate 

The Honda Elevate had a lot riding on its shoulders to put the Japanese carmaker back on track. And boy, what a blast it has been for the carmaker, thanks to the successful response it received. Tata Nexon  

One of India’s best sellers made it even better. The 2023 Tata Nexon is like a Diwali gift box, which has all the crackers (read: things) you need. It looks stunning, has all the features one would need and multiple trims and powertrain options. All in all, there is a Nexon for everyone. Tata Nexon EV

The same analogy of the ICE Nexon applies to the Nexon EV, which is one of the most popular EVs in India. It gets even better features than the ICE Nexon in the form of a larger infotainment and more range from its powertrain. Tata Harrier 

Tata dropped a surprise bomb a bit earlier this year with the new 2023 Harrier. Doesn’t it look striking, especially in this bright yellow hue?
