The Auto Expo 2025 will host exciting and hottest car launches of the year, including the Octavia vRS, Cyberster, and G-Class Electric. Here is a list of the top 10 cars you should expect to see at the auto show.
Skoda has set the stage to showcase the 2025 Octavia vRS at the upcoming Auto Expo. This performance-oriented sedan will be a major highlight at the brand’s pavilion alongside the new Kodiaq, Elroq, Superb, Kushaq, and Vision 7S concept.
The refreshed Octavia vRS features sporty design elements over the standard Octavia facelift. With this, the Octavia vRS has become sportier than before. The cabin follows suit with vRS-specific elements, including new front seats. Powering the Octavia vRS facelift is a 2-litre petrol engine producing 265 PS and 370 Nm. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.2 seconds.
The 911 has been one of the iconic automobiles for decades and the latest version of the legendary 911 will be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The Porsche Carrera 4 GTS debuted a novel hybrid system paired with a turbocharged 3.6-litre six-cylinder engine. The hybrid system together makes 541 PS and 610 Nm. However, the engine can solely deliver 485 PS and 570 Nm. The 8-speed automatic transmission now features an integrated electric motor. The updated 911 can reach 100 kmph from a standstill in 3 seconds and provides a top speed of 312 kmph.
MG Motor India will showcase India’s first electric two-door convertible in the form of the Cyberster. This EV is powered by a 77 kWh battery pack that offers a range of up to 443 km. It comes equipped with a dual-motor setup (which makes it an all-wheel drive) that generates 510 PS and 725 Nm, resulting in 0 to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. Upon launch, the Cyberster will be sold from the brand’s new MG Select premium showrooms.
German luxury automaker has showcased the new electric G-Class known as G 580 with EQ Technology at the Auto Expo 2025. While the model has already been launched in the country at Rs 3 crore (ex-showroom), this will be its first public appearance. The G-Class is an iconic nameplate and the all-electric version follows the legacy with a similar design inside out. Powering the electric G-Class is a 116 kWh battery pack with a WLTP range of up to 473 km. It is fitted with a four individually controlled electric-motor setup that enables up to a 720-degree turn on the spot. Notably, the motors produce 587 PS and 1,164 Nm.

The Vision 7S shows the brand’s Modern Solid design language and a new logo comprising Skoda lettering. The Vision 7S concept is a 3-row SUV, likely to offer different seating layouts. While it is still a concept, Skoda is expected to offer it with an 89 kWh battery pack with a 600 km range.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2025 as the brand’s first electric vehicle. The electric SUV boasts a new exterior design language, a modern cabin, and a host of features. The e Vitara, internationally, offers a choice of drivetrains — a front-wheel or all-wheel drive system. The latter is called AllGrip-e.
Toyota revived the Prado moniker with the new Land Cruiser 250 Prado. The new SUV, to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2025, now sits below the Land Cruiser 300. The LC 250 Prado is powered by a 2.8-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine and a 2.7-litre 4-cylinder petrol motor in the global markets. The latter can also be had in a hybrid version in select markets.
