Czech Republic automaker Skoda is going to light up the forthcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 with its exciting lineup, including the Octavia vRS (Oh, yeah!). The vRS-badged performance-oriented sedan has been a long-awaited offering for the market. Additionally, the brand will showcase a range of new models at the Auto Expo 2025, including the new-generation Kodiaq and Superb. Meanwhile, the brand currently sells the Slavia, Kushag, and the new Kylaq. Now, let us dive deeper into what Skoda is going to bring to the largest auto show.
Expected price - Rs 45 Lakh
The upcoming Octavia vRS will be one of the hottest launches of this year. But before it goes on sale, Skoda will be showcasing the performance-focused sedan at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, which will be held between 17 and 22 January. The facelifted Octavia vRS boasts a sportier look and a completely new interior reminiscent of the new-gen Superb and Kodiaq. The crux of Octavia vRS lies under the bonnet, where it gets a 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates 265 PS and 370 Nm.
Expected price - Rs 40 Lakh
The new generation Kodiaq is expected to make its first appearance in India at the forthcoming Auto Expo 2025. The SUV features a fresh and modern look alongside an upmarket interior layout. Some of the key highlights of the new Kodiaq include a new 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch all-digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a 14-speaker Canton sound system, up to 9 airbags, and ADAS. Expect the India-spec model to offer the same 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 190 PS and 320 Nm.
Expected price - Rs 50 Lakh
Skoda unveiled the latest generation of Superb globally last year with the brand’s new design language, called Modern Solid. With this, the sedan appears mature and more elegant. Whereas, the cabin has also received a complete overhaul with an introduction of Skoda Smart Dials – comprising three rotary knobs with integrated displays to adjust the air conditioning, just like the ones we have seen on the Hyundai Verna. Like the Kodiaq, the new Superb sports a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch driver display, and a heads-up display. Not to mention the upmarket and premium looks of the interior draped in a dual-tone theme. While the international-spec Superb offers a variety of engine options, the India-spec model is likely to come powered by a petrol engine.
In conclusion, Skoda is all set to debut its new lineup in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 with plans to offer an expanded product range, starting from the Kylaq to the Superb. Notably, the Octavia RS is also going to re-enter the market after a long gap.
Skoda’s pavilion at the Auto Expo 2025 will showcase the Elroq — an all-electric crossover. Based on the MEB platform, the Elroq features a new design language of the brand that has also been carried over to the new 2025 Enyaq. On the inside, it gets a familiar cabin seen on the new Kodiaq, Superb, and Octavia, plus the interior uses sustainable materials for upholstery, including recycled PET bottles. Internationally, the Elroq comes in 3 battery pack options: 55 kWh, 63 kWh, and 82 kWh promising a range of up to 560 km on a single charge.
The Vision 7S concept first debuted in August 2022, showcasing Skoda's direction in design and future models. And this all-electric concept will come to the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This concept previewed a new logo comprising Skoda lettering for the Skoda offerings. It is to be noted that the Vision 7S concept has a 7-seat layout. Powering the electric SUV is an 89 kWh battery pack with an estimated range of up to 600 km.
