After a very orange-y May, June 2022 promises to bring us five brand new motorcycles, each one more exciting than the other. So, here’s what one has to look forward to this month:
Bajaj Pulsar N160 And 150
After launching the updated KTM 390s in May, Bajaj will be turning its attention to its Pulsar series. The Indian bikemaker will be bringing in the new Pulsar N160 soon, which is like a downsized version of the N250 launched last year. And to complement the 160, Bajaj will also have a more cost-effective Pulsar 150 arriving shortly thereafter.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350
The next motorcycle based on Royal Enfield’s J-platform is all set to grace our streets. The Hunter 350 is the sportiest of the new RE 350s, and will likely be their most affordable offering as well. We have got the launch details in this video as well as some exclusive news from our dealer friends.
TVS Zeppelin
TVS has always kept mum regarding its launch plans but we have an inkling that the Hosur-based manufacturer is readying the Zeppelin cruiser for launch this month. It comes as a culmination of over four years of work since the concept was shown at Auto Expo 2018. It will miss out on a few bits from the concept, like the on-board camera. What will remain intact, though, is the larger 223cc mill with a mild-hybrid system to provide a little boost.
Ducati Streetfighter V2
Bologna’s supernaked, the Streetfighter V4, will be flanked by its smaller sibling, the Streetfighter V2, in India very soon. In essence, it is just the Panigale V2 sans fairing. It continues to be powered by the 955cc Superquadro L-twin motor, which is quite emotive, eager and exciting. It will have an eye-watering price tag. But hey, it is a Ducati, what else did you expect?
Harley-Davidson Nightster
The new baby Harley-Davidson cruiser is likely to set foot in India towards the latter half of the month. Harley’s latest Nightster uses a brand new 975cc liquid-cooled 60-degree V-twin motor, has variable valve timing and thanks to counterbalancers, will be vibration-free. This motor pushes out 90 horses and 95Nm, so it is no slouch. Plus, it is one of the lightest bikes from Harley, so expect it to handle well too. But with no CKD operations, the Nightster will boast a premium price tag, likely to be around Rs 14 lakh.
