A total of four new models are likely to spawn from the Chakan-based manufacturer

Bajaj ended 2021 with not one but two new launches for the Indian market, the Pulsar N250 and the Pulsar F250. While the two quarter-litre siblings have been grabbing eyeballs for the brand as of now, Bajaj could likely launch four new/updated models in 2022. Here’s the list.

Pulsar 150

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 can be fairly called a veteran in its segment. The bike has been around for a long time and is likely to receive major updates for 2022. The Pulsar 150 is likely to feature a fresh new design and underpinnings, inspired by the latest N250 and F250. As for the motor, expect it to make slightly more power than the current model. Not to mention, Bajaj will likely price it quite aggressively. We think Bajaj will possibly price it a hair over Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).

Pulsar 180

Apart from the Pulsar 150, Bajaj is likely to update the Pulsar 180 as well. It too could receive a notable cosmetic makeover and borrow the underpinnings from its bigger siblings. The 2022 Bajaj Pulsar 180 could also receive a performance bump to keep up with its foes like the TVS Apache RTR 180 and the Hero Xtreme 200S. Expect the asking price to be around Rs 1.20 lakh, ex-showroom.

The third motorcycle on the list from Bajaj for 2022 could be the Pulsar NS250. With the current NS200 having contributed a fair share, it is about time for Bajaj to introduce a slightly bigger and powerful model. Moreover, the Pulsar NS250 can benefit from the current Dominar 250’s liquid-cooled motor, which makes 27PS and 23.5Nm. Expect Bajaj to price it at around Rs 1.60 lakh, ex-showroom.

Avenger 250

The Bajaj Avenger range has gained quite a fanbase over the years, being one of the most affordable and dedicated cruiser-commuter bikes in India. But with the introduction of the new Pulsar 250s, Bajaj can now use the new quarter-litre air/oil-cooled powertrain for the Avenger 250 as well, with a different tune to suffice the cruiser purpose. It currently makes 24.5PS at 8750rpm and 21.5Nm at 6500rpm for both bikes, the F250 and the N250.
