Hyundai has big plans for 2025 with multiple launches lined up. From the Creta EV’s confirmed debut in January to the sleek Ioniq 6, here’s what to expect.

Hyundai is positioning itself as a frontrunner in the Indian EV space, with 4 out of its 2025 lineup’s 3 launches expected to be electric vehicles. These EVs will span both mass-market and premium segments, the latter leveraging Hyundai’s dedicated E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform). Apart from that, the Korean marque is also expected to facelift one of its premium SUVs on our shores.

With this foundation set, here’s a closer look at Hyundai’s upcoming lineup for 2025:

Hyundai Creta EV

Confirmed for January 2025 launch

The much-anticipated Hyundai Creta EV is set to make its grand debut in January 2025 at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Positioned as an electric alternative to one of India’s most beloved SUVs, it’s expected to offer a range of around 400 km with multiple battery options. It could feature advanced tech, including ADAS and dual 10.25-inch displays, ensuring a tech-forward driving experience. Along with that, one can expect styling tweaks to set the Creta EV apart from the current ICE model. It is estimated to be priced around Rs 20 lakh.

Hyundai Venue EV

Expected in April 2025

Expected to launch later in 2025, the Hyundai Venue EV is likely to bring electrification to the compact SUV segment. With Hyundai’s focus on affordability, the Venue EV could target budget-conscious urban buyers seeking a practical and feature-packed EV with a range that could suffice daily office commutes plus occasional weekend runs. It is expected to be priced around Rs 12 lakh.

Hyundai’s premium SUV, the Tucson, is expected to receive a facelift in 2025, aiming to enhance its appeal in the luxury SUV space. The updated model is already on sale in international markets. The updates are expected to include sharper styling, refreshed LED lighting elements, and an updated grille design. Inside, Hyundai might introduce a larger infotainment screen and advanced safety features, keeping Tucson competitive in its segment. No tweaks are expected to be made to the powertrain specifications, though. It is expected to be priced around Rs 30 lakh.

Hyundai Ioniq 6

Expected in December 2025

Hyundai’s global EV, the Ioniq 6, is likely to make its India debut in late 2025, considering this model has been showcased on our shores before. This futuristic electric sedan, based on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform, promises cutting-edge aerodynamics and a WLTP range of over 600 km. With a minimalist yet tech-rich interior, the Ioniq 6 could appeal to premium EV enthusiasts looking for performance and luxury in a sleek package. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 65 lakh.

Final Thoughts

With the Creta EV leading Hyundai’s 2025 lineup, the brand is set to strengthen its position across diverse segments, catering to both budget-conscious EV buyers and premium car enthusiasts. The Creta EV promises to be a game-changer in the affordable electric SUV space, while the Venue EV is poised to offer an entry-level option for urban buyers embracing sustainable mobility. On the premium front, the Ioniq 6 is expected to redefine luxury electric sedans with its futuristic design and advanced tech, while the Tucson Facelift ensures Hyundai retains its edge in the high-end ICE SUV market.
